So I've started a blog...admittedly, I'm incredibly ashamed and embarrassed and I hope no one that I know will ever see this, however, lets be real, blogging is like telling potentially millions of strangers how you feel, or what you're doing, and saving yourself the embarrassment of having to say those things to people you might see on the street, or in class, or at home, or at the grocery store, or in line at the bank, or stopped next to you at a stop light that's been red for like 15 minutes hasn't it?
Or, as many people would agree, blogging is having the gaul to assume that one's life is important enough to be written about and posted about and read about. Obviously in my case, this is very un-true. As the accomplishments of my 18 years are minuscule in comparison to say, any mildly accomplished middle aged man with a job and a house.
Either way, I'm considering this some kind of...written therapy. The internet will be my therapist (as will whichever poor soul I dump all my shit on at the University hospital) and I'll make it work.
All I'm saying is I'm in college, I'm attempting to have some sort of life outside of classes and work, and I am incredibly distracted by everything I THINK should be important, but most likely is not. (Clearly, since I'm writing this blog instead of studying or applying for an internship)
So hello, My name is Jonathan, and welcome to Life, College, and other distractions.
